8 months 3-26-13

Braylee is now 8 months old and doing amazing. She wants to crawl so bad but still needs a little more upper body strength.
We made a trip to Salt Lake City yesterday 3-25-13 and had appointments with 3 of her doctors.
Her first appointment was with her plastic surgeon who did her cranial vault reconstruction for a check up and he said everything looks good, she just has a few scabs that should be healed up by now. So we just need to put some antibiotic on them to keep them moist and hopefully they will clear up. We have a tentative surgery date to repair her cleft palate for April 26, 2013. This date will most likely change since it still needs to be coordinated with the hospital. We are excited to have a date to work around and get it fixed to help her eating real food and to hopefully help move along her speech.
Her second appointment was for her helmet which we are still having some problems with it. She did make it almost 2 weeks with no problems so that is an improvement! She started to have some pressure points last week so he adjusted her helmet a little bit and hopefully everything goes smoothly now. Her Dr. Said we should be about out of weird stuff that can happen. It sure has been a roller coaster.
Her third appointment was with the E.N.T for a follow up for her tubes they put in her ears during her cranial surgery. Everything looks good with her tubes, so that is good to hear! He had a hearing test done and she responded great to that so her hearing is still good.
One step at a time!

Her shirt from Cranio Care Bears! :)

Hanging out with sister waiting for the Dr.

All smiles

She loves to jam on her piano and get applauded!

My helmet gives me a Mohawk :)
